This is a position that pays the current minimum wage rate per hour to a qualified high school student to coach or referee at the middle school level. The high school student must:

* possess sport specific knowledge commensurate with the needs of a coach or a referee in the sport field.

* obtain a concussion course certification from NFHS.org.

* obtain a heat illness course certification from NFHS.org.

* be able to transport him/herself to the middle school job site for practices and games.

* file enrollment paperwork through the human resource office at the district level.

* complete Vector trainings (i.e. "safe schools") prior to beginning work on site.
